The Escort for Escorts in Mexico
Mexico’s top court on Thursday sentenced a Mexican woman to life in prison for allegedly seducing a man with the help of a prostitute.
A judge ruled that Angelina Cruz was guilty of “sexual assault with intent to defile” and ordered her to serve a minimum of 25 years in prison.
Cruz was arrested last year after she lured a man into a room in the capital city of Mexico City, where she used the fake name of the “Lil’ Chico,” and offered him sex.
She also allegedly took a camera with her to record the encounter.
Cruz’s lawyer had argued that her client should be freed because she is mentally ill.
But prosecutors argued that Cruz is a “person of high character” and was in a position of authority.
“The defendant has the right to a fair trial and a speedy execution, which will guarantee that her crime will not be forgotten,” Judge Jaime Herrera Ocampo told the court.
The judge ordered Cruz to serve an additional 10 years in jail before she is released in 2022.
“She has been convicted for a crime she did not commit, and it’s time for her to be freed,” she said.
