Kentucky escort arrested after allegedly stealing $1,000 worth of clothes
— A Lexington, Kentucky, escort who was arrested Wednesday was being held without bond after allegedly allegedly stealing more than $1 and a half million in clothes from a motel room, according to Lexington Police.
Investigators said they received a tip Wednesday from a man who said he saw a woman dressed in a white shirt and jeans and a white jacket at a motel.
Police were alerted to the theft by a motel guest who said his roommate saw the woman with a man in the motel room and the woman was wearing a white robe and black top, police said.
The woman, who is from Kentucky, has been identified as 28-year-old Brittany Williams, who police said is from Tennessee and is currently on parole for a domestic violence conviction.
Investigators believe Williams stole from two other motel rooms in Lexington, including a room where a woman who was visiting from Mississippi was staying.
Investigators found two large boxes of clothes in the first room, but investigators have not yet determined the contents.
They have not identified the man who tipped them off to the room.
Police are still investigating.
Williams is a Lexington resident and has been arrested for theft, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct and theft.
She is being held in the Clark County Jail without bond.
